Hello! I’m Erica Christensen.
I am an illustrator and story writer. I love to draw monsters, animals, and people having all sorts of adventures!
I have a noisy flock of kids, chickens and parrots, a quieter bunch of slithery reptiles, several crabs and a fluffy hamster. You can tell what inspires my artwork! I love understanding biology and the natural world, and it comes out in my character designs.
Right now I’m focusing on traditional illustration with watercolor and ink. I also like digital drawing (the mural below is drawn with vectors in Concepts).
My current projects are the Jelly Garden Seek & Find series and UrbanSnacks (a monster-infested urban sketching series). I’m also working on a children’s book.
